I haven't made a post since Christmas!  I felt it was important to change my picture also, since I'd like the spring to arrive and the biting-cold snowless winter to leave at this point.  What to say about a month and a half of life.......it was great.  God has been working on my heart from many directions.  I'll start with Kalahari.  Now  that was a great time.  It was great to be able to connect with Breathe and enjoy some fellowship.  Then came Breakaway.  It was a tremendous time, and God showed me how He is in charge, and that I need to be in tune with His spirit to allow HIm to lead me.  If anyone is thinking of going next year, please do, because it's a great opportunity to let God put you in a track where He can teach you something important.  I'll make an effort to post more often!  Term of the day- "Scholorly thriller."  If you want to join the circle of cool, leave a shout out and tell me how life is going!

I figured that the best day to make a post might be Christmas!  Merry Christmas everyone!  It's been a good break so far, doing some Christmas music playing and Chelsea coming over for a few days was great!  I'm looking forward to this next week because there's a lot going on!  Possible skiing with cousins, should be good, and hopefully I'll get to play some basketball, which I wasn't able to do during finals.....because.....well you know....finals are as cool as Ralph Nader!  I don't have much else to say, except that I hope everyone enjoys these glorious few weeks off and that no one gets white-washed haha.  Peace

Lord, let me live for you today.  I give you my will so that yours may be done.  Jesus, use my gifts for your kingdom.  I give you my dreams, my fears, my sins, my future, and all my heart's desires because they are not meant for me to carry alone.  Father, draw me close to you.  I want to feel your hand in my life and your voice in my salvation.  You are my heart's burning desire, and I long to feel rest in your peace.  Jesus, I pray that you are more in my life, and I am less.  Today is for you, God.  Remind me to love.

Hey everyone, I'd just like to share a few sweet things that I've experienced since my last post.  Yes, I'm going to make a top ten list......actually, I'll make it a top 11, call it a Cheapskate's dozen!
11)  Playing basketball again with old friends
10)  Becoming Josh Ditthart's valentine
9)  Jamming again with Catachresis
8)  Remembering the verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
7)  Seeing my family
6)  Being able to relax after a tough week of school!
5)  Wishing I could break-dance
4)  Totally hearing God's calming voice
3)  Playing in the "illegal" piano studios
2)  Hearing from Chelsea when she's down in Mississippi
1)  Being alive!  Woohoo

Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone, and don't forget to really give thanks!  Peace in

Whew, ok time for another entry.  Emotional Rush.  I just got back from L'Abri with Silas, Jenni, Tiffany, Joy, and Rob and it was SWEET!  Man, I really missed Winona though.  I'm telling you, there is nothing like seeing good ol' prentiss again as you're bounding down the road.  I feel like this Winona is home.  I'm telling you guys, even being gone for one day, I missed it.  I don't know why.  No, it wasn't the musty smell of room 104, it wasn't the heavily dented closet doors.  Nay it wasn't even the green......ish carpet with absolutely no padding under it whatsoever that makes this place special.  No.....you see.......it's all of you.  The great people that make WSU where I'm glad to be.  Let's hear a big WOOT! for college and for loving every second of it (except the approximate 3000 seconds during a test).  If you're reading this, there's a 99.9% chance that you're sweet (the other .1% is the slight chance that Al Gore decided to invade xanga).  Anyway, enough of my ramblings.  Peace in everyone.  Oh BTW, Mike, Silas, and I jammed out in a piano practice room the other day and it was totally sweet.  Guys, time to draw up our club chain plans.  God bless, by His grace alone.
